About the Role:
  
Our client is a well-respected NZ owned business, who have been enhancing the quality of people’s lives for over 35 years.  They have developed trusted partnerships across multiple markets, including Public and Private Hospitals, Aged Care and Community Care. 
  
Due to ongoing growth and development, they are now seeking a confident and energetic person who has excellent customer service and sales skills, to be the first point of contact for Sales and Product enquiries. This is a pivotal role in the business, where you will be providing expert knowledge and support across specified key product categories within the Hospital Care range.  You will be required to communicate with Customers as well as the Field Sales team and will play a fundamental role in scoping out the client enquiry, sourcing available products and coordinating solutions for the Customer.

Duties:

  • Be the first point of contact in the sales team and respond to inbound customer calls
  • Process enquiries via the inbound email queue and coordinate/follow up on requests from customers or external sales team
  • Become a subject matter expert, being able to provide adequate suggestions or source appropriate products to meet the clients needs
  • Build and maintain relationships with Customers with a view to generating sales and revenue objectives
  • Decipher customer requests and where required triage to the correct personnel
  • Develop an overall understanding of the range of products and services
  • Process and action customer requests such as product availability, coordination of trials and/or product demonstrations etc

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience as a Clinical/Theatre Engineer or similar will be highly regarded
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to use internal company ERP systems ie; Salesforce, Dialpad etc
  • High level problem solving skills, with the ability to scope/troubleshoot customer requests
  • Demonstrated internal or external sales & customer support experience
  • Be an analytical thinker with a mechanical/technical mindset
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A passion for working with people and making a difference
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic “can-do” attitude
  • Professional manner and the ability to utilise your initiative
  • Time management & excellent organizational skills
  • Must have full NZ working rights 
  • Must be willing to undertake a pre-employment drug test
