About the Role:
Our Client supplies world leading Construction Equipment brands through sales and hire of their equipment throughout four countries in the World and in addition, they also have a comprehensive after-sales divisions for servicing and parts.
A position is now available for a driven and conscientious person who has stores and warehousing experience, a forklift licence and ideally a knowledge of automotive parts. Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will be responsible for dealing with internal and external customers, sourcing parts, inwards/outwards goods, stocktakes, inventory and upkeep of the stores area.
This position will be based in a workshop environment where you will be managing a small stores area and working alongside the Workshop Staff to ensure the accurate and efficient ordering, sourcing and stocking of parts for their workshop team. Whilst previous experience as a parts interpreter is preferred, if you have stores experience and are mechanically minded this could be the right role for you!

Duties:
- Inwards & Outwards Goods
- Checking stock orders & following up on back orders
- Maintaining an accurate and clean warehouse
- Stocktake & Inventory cycle counts
- Interpreting parts requests from the Workshop & taking care of the transfer and delivery of parts to workshop
- Transferring parts back from workshop and relocating them when no longer needed
- Maintaining a safe workplace by complying with all health and safety legislation
Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years experience in a stores/warehousing role
- Professional Phone Manner essential
- A high level of computer skills
- Mechanically minded and/or an interest in heavy machinery
- Positive, friendly, can-do attitude
- Hard worker, who is honest and reliable
- Excellent attention to detail
- Forklift licence highly desirable
- Drivers Licence
- Physically fit, with the ability to undertake heavy lifting
- MUST be in Australia and have full working rights.
