About the Role
Our client is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Boilermaker / Metal Fabricator, with a ‘’can-do’’ attitude to join their high performing team based in East Gippsland. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-driven and motivated individual to secure long-term employment.

Duties:
- Sheet metal folding, steel fabrication and processing
- Operating plant and equipment
- Welding – predominately GMAW (MIG) with some MMAW (stick) and GTAW (TIG)
- Assisting with steel sales operations – process orders & customer service, especially in times of high demand
- General maintenance
- Assisting with inwards goods – unloading deliveries, checking off paperwork, racking stock
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience as a Boilermaker or Metal Fabricator within industrial, building, construction or any relevant steel industry. (Open to newly qualified apprentices)
- Certificate III in Engineering (Metal Fabrication)
- Possess a strong “customer first” work ethic
- High attention to detail
- Professional work ethic with an ability to work as an integral member of a small team and autonomously
- General physical fitness to fulfil manual handling tasks
- Forklift license desirable (not mandatory)
