About the Role
Our client is now seeking an energetic, pro-active and experienced Swimming Pool Construction Labourer who has a can-do attitude. This role will act as a key support person to the Construction Director, where you will perform a wide range of on-site duties throughout the pool construction stage, to ensure a seamless process.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and thrive in a team environment and will need to be someone who can learn things very quickly and think on their feet to get the job done.
This position will require the person to have a Clean Drivers License. In addition, if you have an LR or MR license, that would be a benefit, however if you don’t, the Company will put the successful individual through a course to upskill them.

Duties:
- Supporting other tradesmen on site with ad-hoc duties
- Set up and clean-up of work site
- Adhere to occupational, health and safety requirements
- Picking up and delivering materials to work sites
- Travelling from one job site to another during the day as required
- Taking waste to tip
- Mixing and carrying materials onsite
- General labouring duties

Skills and Experience:
- 2 to 3 years of general labour experience in the construction or pool industry
- Current Clean Driver’s License
- Current, clean LR or MR drivers’ license, or the ability to obtain
- Physically fit and healthy
- Working knowledge of workplace health and safety policies
- An ability to communicate effectively using a mobile phone (e.g. calls, messages, emails)
- Positive, can-do attitude and professional work site behavior
- An ability to take directions and be willing to learn new skills and take advice
- High level customer service skills and presentable
