Due to business growth, our client is looking for an enthusiastic, career-oriented Intermediate Accountant to join their dedicated team.
In this role, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, you will manage a diverse portfolio of clients and provide a broad range of financial and business services.

Duties:
- Prepare financial accounts and tax returns with precision and accuracy.
- Manage the preparation of activity statements and SMSF fund reporting and tax obligations.
- Assist in delivering top-tier professional services to clients, offering guidance and support to junior staff.
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
- Handle reconciliation and preparation of work papers, ensuring all details align perfectly.
- Complete compliance work as required, working closely with the Team Leader.
- Liaise with clients on all relevant matters, providing exceptional service and building strong relationships.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a business services/tax within Public Practice.
- Experience with accounting and taxation software such as Xero, MYOB, and XPM.
- Experience with trusts, partnerships, individuals, companies and Superannuation funds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Technical proficiency and sound compliance knowledge, with competency in using Excel.
- Must be a Permanent Resident of Australia
